Sanna Miller LMT, SAMT
Sanna Miller graduated from a 1000-hour certification course at Cortiva Institute - Brenneke School of Massage in 2007. Having experienced the benefits of bodywork while seeking treatment for her own stress-related injuries, Sanna relocated to Seattle to attend massage school. She also completed a B.A in Communications at Grand Valley State University in Michigan. In 2016, Sanna added her love for animals to her passion for massage and trained at the Northwest School of Animal Massage, receiving her certification in Small Animal Massage in 2017.
Sanna was first introduced to holistic care when she began studying Tai Chi in 2002. Her passion for Tai Chi heavily influences her massage style, drawing on the concepts of listening with the body and following energy. She continues to practice Tai Chi in and out of massage sessions. She also enjoys: dancing, yoga, hiking, running, reading, vegetarian & gluten-free cooking, and quality-time with her cat. As a former Crossfit member, Sanna understands the challenges that athletes face in training, recovery, injury prevention and treatment.
In addition to a strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, Sanna's practice is guided by intuition, intention and presence enabling her to facilitate your healing process through relaxing and effective methods. Techniques range from light to deep pressure, always within your comfort zone and boundaries. Sanna has successfully treated headaches, jaw pain, chronic neck and shoulder tension, false sciatica, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, strains, muscle spasms and abdominal issues. She is a natural Energy Healer and understands the intensity that can accompany energy balancing. She is skilled at listening to your body and respects your physical, emotional and energetic boundaries.
